2. Order Placement
Orders can be placed via email, phone, or WhatsApp.
Buyers must specify: rice variety, quantity, packaging, shipment terms, and destination port.
A formal purchase order or confirmation email is required to validate any transaction.
3. Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)
Standard MOQ for rice exports is 1 Full Container Load (FCL).
FCL can be 20ft or 40ft containers, depending on rice variety and shipment requirements.
4. Pricing & Payment Terms
Prices are quoted in USD or as agreed in the contract.
Payment terms are usually advance payment, L/C (Letter of Credit), or as agreed with the buyer.
Any bank charges, taxes, or duties related to international payments are the responsibility of the buyer.
5. Packaging & Labeling
Limra Trading Co. provides retail and bulk packaging, including 5kg, 10kg, 25kg retail packs and 50kg PP or jute bags.
Private label or buyer branding is available upon request.
Packaging adheres to export-grade standards, ensuring product safety during transit.
6. Shipment & Delivery
Rice shipments are arranged via sea freight containers (FCL).
Trade terms include FOB, CIF, and CFR, as agreed in the contract.
Delivery schedules depend on shipment route, port clearance, and local regulations.
7. Quality & Inspection
All rice is Sortex clean, free from stones, dust, and live insects.
Buyers may request pre-shipment inspection through recognized agencies (e.g., SGS).
Limra Trading Co. ensures export-quality grains, adhering to international food safety standards.
8. Export Documentation
The following documents are provided:
- Commercial Invoice
- Bill of Lading
- Certificate of Origin
- Phytosanitary Certificate
- Food Safety Certificate
- Fumigation Certificate (if requested)
9. Returns & Claims
Claims for quality, quantity, or shipment issues must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
Claims are subject to verification and inspection by Limra Trading Co.
Return or replacement policies will be applied based on contractual agreements and shipment terms.
10. Liability
Limra Trading Co. is not liable for losses due to customs clearance, port delays, or buyer mishandling after shipment dispatch.
Liability is limited to replacement or compensation for proven quality defects at the time of delivery.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Zambia or as specified in the sales contract.
Any disputes will be resolved through mutual negotiation or arbitration as per international trade norms.
